Yapanese (pronounced Japanese) aka Japanese with Yeison (pronounced Jason)

Welcome to the first post of the Yapanese blog.  Not to be confused with the yapanese blog,  as defined by Urban Dictionary.  Nor should it be confused with the level 60 Gnome Rogue, Yapanese, who is a member of Pirates of Willy Goat on the Shattered Hand WoW server.  And finally, it should certainly not be confused with Yapese, "a language spoken by 6,000 people on the island of Yap."  This is what google has told me.  Instead, Yapanese, as defined here, is more accurately described as a language spoken by 1 person on the island of Manhattan.  At least for now.  Hopefully that will change as more of you read this blog.

What is Yapanese, actually?
Yapanese actually is Japanese as taught by Yeison (pronounced Jason).  You may ask, why would I want to learn Japanese from Yeison (pronounced Jason)?  And I would say, "I have no idea."  But then I would also say, "Well, because Yeison (pronounced Jason) will be learning Japanese with you."  In other words, the amount of Japanese I currently know can be summed up in a few words: Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Rurouni Kenshin, Dragon Ball Z (so maybe some of that was not Japanese, we'll work on it later).  And hopefully after the next few posts both you and I will be able to say, "Naruto katakana, hiragana" (make believe that's an actual sentence for now, we'll work on that later too.)

Next post: First Yapanese lesson!
